Despite the uncertainties affecting the implementation of the European Union Regulation to combat Deforestation and Forest Degradation (EUDR), which is now expected to be postponed until the end of 2026, FSC has continued to develop various alignment tools. Following the Regulatory Module, another tool is now ready to be released.

We are currently progressing a comprehensive revision of our Chain of Custody (CoC) standards, which are central to maintaining the integrity and traceability of FSC-certified forest products. This process represents the most significant CoC update in years and reflects extensive stakeholder input and evolving market needs.
