FSC in North Macedonia

Throughout its rich and turbulent history, the people of North Macedonia have always valued and lived with and from their forests. Even today coppice forests represent the most significant forest land type, covering 50% of the country's total forest area.

North Macedonia is the latest and most welcome addition to the FSC in the Adria-Balkan Region.

    Number of FSC-certified companies is growing

    The first chain of custody certificate in North Macedonia was issued in 2013. Since then the number of certified companies have risen to 29.
