A group of researchers from the Universities of Zagreb, Zvolen, and Ljubljana assessed the FSC Chain of Custody certification benefits in Croatian wood industry. The findings of this study encourage the implementation of FSC certification.

Croatian state forest management company Hrvatske šume d.o.o. celebrated their impressive achievement - 20 years of state-owend forest management in compliance with the FSC Principles and Criteria.

On 22 September 2022 FSC published an updated version of the Trademark Registration List. Besides Croatia and Slovenia, registrations of the FSC logo, the FSC name, the FSC initials are now available also in Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia.
