Do companies and end consumers in Croatia recognise the value of FSC labels? Two recently published studies arrived at similar conclusions - while the awareness of different ecological labels is still developing, both the end consumers and companies that process forest based materials from Croatia show a good understanding of the FSC label.

A group of researchers from the Universities of Zagreb, Zvolen, and Ljubljana assessed the FSC Chain of Custody certification benefits in Croatian wood industry. The findings of this study encourage the implementation of FSC certification.
